In addition to her film work, Jessica is an award-winning writer whose passion is telling the stories of real people. Her work has been published in O, The Oprah Magazine and The Washington Post. She’s written about a human rights activist who advocates for vulnerable families, a mother struggling to balance breastfeeding with her National Guard service, and a woman who scales towering redwoods to collect samples for cloning.
Through D.C.-based Truth in Motion Films, Jessica combines years of experience on sets and in edit suites, with her expert interviewing and storytelling skills, to create films with a tangible impact for nonprofits, academic institutions, and private clients. Recent fundraising projects have been instrumental in helping to raise millions of dollars, and her films have elicited overwhelmingly positive responses from her clients and their audiences.
